How do I set my page?

The first time, tap Place a bookmark on the book’s page, then tap Set my page. During your free trial, placing a bookmark is free. After the trial, it uses one bookmark. To update your page later, open the book’s companion and tap the page icon next to the book’s title.

On the Where are you? screen, pick one of three ways at the bottom:

• Camera (most accurate): snap the first page you haven’t read yet, right where you’d slip in a bookmark. You can also choose a photo from your library.
• Manual: enter the number of pages in your copy and the last page you read. Check that it looks right, then tap Set Your Page.
• CatchPhrase (best for audiobooks): enter the last four words you heard or read.

If you enter your page manually, you’ll see a quick check before it’s saved:

Finished the book? Tap Finished the book? on the same screen.
